While many parts of the country are still experiencing the cold weather, Starbucks is getting ready for the spring season by adding new menu items.

The famous coffee chain announced that it is officially introducing a new drink on Tuesday, March 1.
The company revealed its new Iced Toasted Vanilla Oatmilk Shaken Espresso in a press release. The new drink is made with a Blonde espresso with a hint of caramelized vanilla shaken together with ice and topped with oat milk. Starbucks pointed out that the cold beverage is under 200 calories.
If you are currently a Starbucks Rewards member, the deal is even sweeter for you.
Beginning on March 7, members can start to play the new “Prize and Delight” game, which allows you to win over 2 million prizes. The prizes range from gift cards and Bonus Stars to the grand prize of free Starbucks drinks one year.
If you are traveling during the springtime, you can also use the app to order ahead and pay at stores located in most major airports.
The new beverage joins the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and Iced Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso on the brand’s permanent menu, which means it will be available all year in stores across the United States.
Starbucks also added a new line of cold espresso drinks to the lineup. In 2021, the company introduced the Honey Oatmilk Latte. The Iced Shaken Espresso will come in two dairy-free flavors: Brown Sugar Oatmilk and Chocolate Almondmilk.
The oat milk drink consists of brown sugar and cinnamon, and the almond milk will have cocoa and malt. The Starbucks Blonde espresso is the base for both drinks.
The Chickpea Bites & Avocado Protein Box was new to the menu that features a plant-based, protein-filled box filled with chickpea bites, snap peas, mini carrots, a dried cranberry, and nut mix, and avocado spread.
