A shocking video was captured on Memorial day showing a teen girl tussling with a massive mama bear to save her dogs in a Bradbury, California backyard.
The terrifying moment was seen on home surveillance video and posted by the teen’s mom.
“Superhuman strength to save her dogs. My child did not even think she just ran to save them,” mother of Hailey Morinico, 17, wrote on her Instagram post.
Morinico, 17, told ABC-7 that she heard the family dogs barking in her backyard and saw a massive mama bear on a wall with her cubs.
As one Morinico’s larger service dogs attempts to scare off the bear, the video shows the bear repeatedly swiping at the dog. Meanwhile, the three other pups are seen barking and running around the backyard.
The teen appears running full-speed toward the enormous bear, until she shoves her off of the wall and quickly scoops up one of the dogs before running back into the house.
The teen was left with a small scratch, but she and all of the dogs were thankfully uninjured.
