Watch 300-Foot Ice Disk Spinning Nonstop In The Middle of River

A huge disk of ice in a Westbrook, Maine river is getting everyone into a tizzy.

The revolving spectacle is actually a whopping 300 feet in diameter and is completely natural, although they are typically not this huge.

The rare phenomenon, the New York Times reports, forms when ice or slush freezes while rotating.

As it turns, pieces that jut out are shaved down by rocks forming an almost perfect circle.

That's it for your "cool" news. Sorry.
