With floodwaters in North Carolina still at dangerously high, rescuers are working around the clock to save stranded animals.
The Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue, a non-profit organization based in North Dakota, traveled all the way to the storm-rocked state to help.
Volunteers saved 14 Alpacas that were trapped by high-level waters.
After getting them safely to dry land, the rescue group helped hydrate the animals that had been standing in the water for days with nothing to eat or drink.
It's a good thing rescuers were around to take care of these helpless animals.
