The 2021 Masters is finally here! As for the betting odds, Dustin Johnson is the defending champion, and while repeats at Augusta aren't easy, oddsmakers have listed him as the favorite to win at +950.
DJ torched the field in 2020 with a dominating 20-under performance, shooting under par (72) in all four rounds.
Bryson DeChambeau, who was the 2020 betting favorite going into the event, comes in 2nd, at +1150. DeChambeau ended up finishing tied for 34th place at 2-under, 18 strokes behind Johnson last year.
Jordan Spieth, fresh off his win at the Valero Texas Open, also sits at +1150. Jon Rahm (+1250), Justin Thomas (+1250), and Rory McIlroy (+1900) round out the upper echelon of favorites.
Fun fact: The last player to win back-to-back championships at the Masters was Tiger Woods in 2002. Unfortunately, Tiger will miss the event due to his car accident, but let's hope we get a chance to see him at Augusta at least once more in the future.
The prestigious event is scheduled to tee-off on Thursday, April 8 at Augusta National Golf Club.
