Antonio Brown continues to talk following his controversial exit from Sunday's game in New York against the Jets and then officially being released on Thursday.

The former Buccaneers receiver went on The Full Send podcast and made some pretty interesting claims, especially relating to Tom Brady.

“Brady is the general manager (of Tampa Bay)," Brown said. "He’s the guy my agent made the contract with, he’s the middle man and politician. I talked to Tom and he knows I’m not going to play. ... To me, a friend is someone who’s got your back. Not everybody in sports is going to be your friend. Tom Brady’s my friend. Why? Because I’m a good football player. He needs me to play football.”

Brown seemed upset with his contract -- one that has a number of incentives -- compared to Rob Gronkowski's.

“If Tom Brady’s my boy, how come I’m playing for an earning salary?” he said. “Gronkowski is his boy, right? How much does he get paid? So why is AB on a prove-it deal? Who’s better than me over there? Let’s be real. Let’s be honest: Who is the best guy over there? Playing football, receiver-wise, who is the guy who gets it popping?

” … It’s not about being a fan, it’s about being a realistic human. That’s what it’s about, bro. Brady can’t do (expletive) by himself. We all humans, bro. We all depending on someone else to do a job."

This makes sense following a report Thursday of Brown requesting his $2 million in incentives become guaranteed last week, but the Buccaneers denied the request.

Brown officially cleared waivers Friday and is now a free agent.
