This Oakland A's have reportedly struck for yet another notable trade following the lifting of the MLB lockout.

The Athletics are reportedly trading left-hander Sean Manaea to the San Diego Padres in exchange for a pair of minor leaguers, Mark Feinsand reported on Sunday.

Manaea, who turned 30 last month, becomes at least the fourth A's star traded since the lockout ended last month, joining first baseman Matt Olson, right-hander Chris Bassitt, and third baseman Matt Chapman.

Manaea had his best season in 2021, posting a 3.91 ERA (3.66 FIP) in 179 1/3 innings. The 2013 first-round draft pick is slated for free agency next offseason.

In return, the A's receive 20-year-old infield prospect Euribiel Angeles and 25-year-old pitcher Adrian Martinez, Feinsand reported. Also going to San Diego is minor league reliever Aaron Holiday.
