Bucks vs Heat
The Miami Heat have a chance to take control of their First Round series with the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday when they host Game 3 with the series tied 1-1. Of course, after failing to keep up with the Bucks in Game 2 even though Milwaukee was without Giannis, Miami is a home underdog on Saturday. The Heat was also the second-worst team in the NBA during the regular season against the spread, going 32-51-3 ATS whereas the Bucks were 16-7-3 against the spread as a road favorite this season. Meanwhile, the over might be the best bet for Game 3 whether Giannis returns to the lineup or not. There were 247 total points scored in Game 1 and 260 scored in Game 2, yet the over/under for Game 3 opened at 218 points. That creates a lot of margin for error in picking the over if the up-tempo nature of this series continues. Grizzlies vs Lakers
Ahead of Game 3 on Saturday night, the Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Lakers have had perhaps the most surprising and unpredictable series of the NBA playoffs. The Lakers took Game 1 on the road but failed to beat Memphis in Game 2 despite the Grizzlies playing without Ja Morant. The Lakers are now 4.5-point home favorites in Game 3. Keep in mind Los Angeles won both home games against the Grizzlies this season, although one of those games was decided by a single point while the Lakers were just 10-13 against the spread as home favorites. However, despite a win in Game 2, the injury to Morant has added a new wrinkle to this series. Going on the road with Morant absent or playing hurt could be problematic for the Grizzlies, who were 0-14 straight up and just 2-12 against the spread this season as a road underdog. That trend would appear to point toward the Lakers winning Game 3 comfortably. To get NBA best bets for every NBA playoff game, check out BetQL.
