Jaguars vs Chiefs (-9)
The Kansas City Chiefs will make their playoff debut this season on Saturday afternoon when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars. The battling line has grown all of the way to nine points with early betting favoring Kansas City. The Chiefs already beat the Jaguars 27-17 earlier this season, and that was just one of Kansas City’s seven wins that came by at least 10 points. While leading MVP candidate Patrick Mahomes gets going, the Chiefs can be tough to stop. Keep in mind that Mahomes is 8-3 in the playoffs with six of those eight wins coming by double digits. The Jags will have to be close to perfect to keep this game close, and that certainly wasn’t the case last week when they turned it over five times despite an incredible comeback. Cowboys (+3.5) vs 49ers
The NFL playoff weekend concludes Sunday evening when the San Francisco 49ers host the Dallas Cowboys. This will be the ninth playoff meeting between these old rivals, including a 23-17 San Francisco win last season. The 49ers are favored by 3.5 points at home, although betting has favored the Cowboys. While the 49ers have become a buzzsaw with 11 straight wins, the Cowboys have won seven of their last nine games and put together an impressive road win in Tampa last week. Dallas scored the fourth-most points in the NFL this season, and that was with Dak Prescott missing five games. Despite Prescott being turnover-prone this season, he threw four touchdown passes and no interceptions last week. If he can be equally sharp this week, the Cowboys should be able to keep this game close and perhaps pull off an upset.
