I'm not going to pretend, here. I've never seen "Love Actually," and I don't really know anything about it. But after reading the description, courtesy of IMDb —

Follows the lives of eight very different couple dealing with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London, England.

— it doesn't really sound like a film I can envision Bill Belichick curling up to watch. On second thought, I can't really imagine Belichick "curling up" to any movies as opposed to sternly watching film in a dark, isolated room. That didn't stop ESPN's production team from including him in a strange animated clip, along with former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, that parodied the rom-com during New England's matchup with Buffalo on "Monday Night Football."

For context, here's the scene from the movie... and I have to admit, it's a pretty smooth move from the usually less-romantic zombie slayer Rick Grimes. That's how I knew actor Andrew Lincoln, at least.

And someone at ESPN must really, really like "Love Actually." Only two holiday seasons ago, we saw our favorite creepy mascot get the same parody treatment alongside Katie Nolan.

Social media responses were varied but, for the most part, all shared one common theme: what did we just watch?

To be fair, while Belichick isn't going to be knocking on Brady's door, it's probably safe to say he wouldn't have minded having Brady at the helm in a tough 2020 campaign for his Patriots.
