Kickoff remains scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Bills are scheduled to play the Lions in Detroit to kick off the Thanksgiving tripleheader.

Officials spent Thursday afternoon working with Ford Field to staff the game.

The Browns have been preparing this week for two scenarios – playing in a blizzard at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park or a neutral site dome.

This is not the first time the Bills have had a game relocated to Detroit due to a blizzard. In 2014 Buffalo’s game with the Jets was moved to Ford Field.

New York officials closed the Interstate 90 Thruway Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m. to commercial traffic due to heavy and drifting snow expectations.
