Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl odds move after Antonio Brown re-signs

How much did Antonio Brown’s return to the Buccaneers move the team’s odds?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are making moves in their quest for a Super Bowl win repeat. And their betting odds are also on the move as a result.

Buccaneers head coach, Bruce Arians, said at the team’s Super Bowl parade in February he wants to bring his whole roster back this season to go "for two.” And he wasn’t kidding.

The team announced on Wednesday Antonio Brown has signed a deal to stay with Tampa Bay, completing Arians’ demand to “keep this band together.” And this was great news for the Buccaneers Super Bowl odds as well.

The Buccaneers odds to win the 2022 championship shortened on Wednesday to +750 (odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook). On Feb. 8, the odds sat at +950, and on Feb. 3 they were +1100. Not too shabby of a shortening.

This team’s confidence in themselves leaves no doubt in my mind they will at least make it to the Super Bowl this season. Tom Brady is the ultimate leader of men who now has his trusted teammates (he loves Brown) around him to get the job done. He feels respected, valued, and he's not slowing down.

The next question is, which way will the odds move if Julian Edelman comes out of retirement and Brady recruits him to the Bucs? THAT would be something.
