Caesars Sportsbook launched its new mobile app this week with a huge ad campaign and the help of actor-comedian JB Smoove. Caesars is rebranding with this launch after its acquisition of William Hill in April and has debuted a marketing campaign featuring the Curb Your Enthusiasm star.
Smoove appears in the ads as Caesar himself with the tagline, “We are all Caesars.” The mobile app will be live in Indiana, Iowa, Colorado, Michigan, New Jersey, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
In the press release, which is headlined with “Your app is ready, Emperor!” in all caps, Caesars announced the release of the app and the multi-million dollar marketing campaign.
“We are excited to launch our new comprehensive marketing campaign for Caesars Sportsbook,” said Tom Reeg, CEO of Caesars Entertainment, in the release. “The rebranded and upgraded offerings for our Caesars Sportsbook will provide customized offers, flexible limits, a wide range of betting lines, and an intuitive user experience. Caesars Sportsbook also brings players into an empire of play where, win or lose, every wager gives them more through our award-winning Caesars Rewards.”
This new campaign comes as the sportsbook is phasing out the William Hill brand after Caesars acquired that sportsbook back in April.
