DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott revealed Wednesday that he would undergo another MRI when the team returns to Frisco this weekend following their Friday night preseason game vs the Arizona Cardinals.
Anytime you hear the term 'MRI,' it obviously comes with a level of concern. But that's not the case here, according to 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher.

This second MRI is simply about making sure the strained muscle in Prescott's throwing shoulder is healing properly.
The plan remains the same for Prescott, who threw in practice Wednesday.
That plan will include the quarterback throwing fully in Monday's practice at The Star, with the hope that Prescott will be able to play in the third preseason game vs the Texans at AT&T Stadium on Aug. 21.
"Once I get back in the team setting, I'm not going to think about my arm," Prescott said. "It's about progressing at the right time. It all felt good out there. Every throw I made. When they tell you stop, you don't want to hear it, but you (stop)."
Despite Prescott's desire to play in the preseason, the team could still hold him out until the season opener vs Tampa Bay on Sept. 9, and that would be okay with him, too.
"Once Sept. 9 comes, I'll move forward and won't think about this again."
