(SportsRadio 610) -- Even with the turmoil and uncertainty surrounding Deshaun Watson, the quarterback still wants to be traded by the Texans.
According to a report by NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Watson will not attend voluntary organized team activities. While 22 lawsuits against Watson alleging sexual misconduct have slowed the process of sorting out the quarterback's future, his position has not changed, Pelissero reports.
"Watson wants out of Houston."
When Nick Caserio was hired as Texans general manager earlier this year, he was clear about the organization not wanting to trade Watson, despite the request.
The tune has changed a bit with the lawsuit filings over the past couple of months. Whereas Caserio once reiterated the team's commitment to Watson, he's more recently said they would allow the legal process to play out.
Texans CEO Cal McNair, who's personal attorney has tried to help broker mediation between Watson's and the plaintiffs' lawyers, has also told season-ticket holders that the organization is taking these allegations seriously.
Watson has denied any wrongdoing.
Meanwhile, Caserio has added four other quarterbacks to the roster -- Tyrod Taylor, Ryan Finley, Davis Mills and Jeff Driskel -- seemingly to prepare for life without Watson.
