Dez Bryant Signs With New Orleans Saints

NEW ORLEANS (WWL.com) -- Dez Bryant had been out of football since the Dallas Cowboys cut him back in April.

On Wednesday, the 30-year-old wide receiver finally found a new home: in New Orleans.

Bryant joins a Saints receiving corps that is led by Michael Thomas. But running back Alvin Kamara and tight end Benjamin Watson rank second and third on the team in catches. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for Bryant to build some chemistry with Saints quarterback Drew Brees.

Bryant, the No. 24 overall pick in the 2010 draft, played in Dallas for eight seasons, catching 531 passes for 7,459 yards and 73 touchdowns. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Bryant gets to return to Dallas on Nov. 29 when the Saints take on the Cowboys on Thursday Night Football.
