The rivalry between the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons added another chapter on Sunday when there were some fireworks after the game between head coaches Arthur Smith and Dennis Allen.

Smith was incensed at Allen and the Saints because the ran a play from victory formation to score another touchdown despite already leading by 24 points to make the final score 48-17.

The Falcons head coach was seen screaming “that’s f---ing bulls—t” toward Allen during the postgame handshake.

Allen began his postgame press conference by apologizing to Smith and the Falcons and explained that the players went rogue to get Jamaal Williams a touchdown.

“That’s not who we are, not what we’re about,” Allen said.

Smith, who is in danger of losing his job after the loss cost the Falcons a chance to make the playoffs, also spoke about the incident after the game.

“You can do whatever you want,” Smith told reporters. “I just gave them my opinion about it.”
