Legendary Public Enemy frontman Chuck D marked the return of Major League Baseball with a pair of nostalgic Twitter posts on Thursday.

The hip-hop icon and Long Island native posted images of two defunct MLB ballparks in separate tweets -- Shea Stadium in New York, and Memorial Stadium in Baltimore.

"RT if you ever attended a #SheaStadium Event," one tweet said, along with a hand-drawn sketch of the Mets' former home.

In the other post, Chuck schools younger fans about Hall of Famer Frank Robinson and Memorial Stadium in Baltimore, home of the Orioles before they moved into downtown Camden Yards.

"How many people can conceive of Baltimore Memorial Stadium being in the hood so to speak. I remember seeing guys like Frank Robby at the plAte with somebodys crib beyond the outfield fences and parking lots. RT if you saw a game there or know what I mean..."

Chuck is a diehard sports fan, often posting commentary on social media. He frequently wears sports apparel in public, and did so in Public Enemy's music videos. The Phillies, Pirates, Pistons and Raiders were among the many teams whose gear was represented in PE videos.
