After 10 long weeks, the Le'Veon Bell watch is finally over. The Pittsburgh Steelers star running back is ineligible to play this season after he did not report to the team this week. That means it's James Conner's show the rest of the way. The Steelers have shown no signs of trouble without Bell; they actually look to be getting better every week. They dropped 52 points last Thursday night against a good Panthers team, putting up a sensational all-around performance to improve to 6-2-1. The Jacksonville Jaguars are heading in the opposite direction, having lost five straight to drop to 3-6. This is a rematch of last season's Divisional Round playoff game in which the Jaguars prevailed in Pittsburgh, 45-42. The Jaguars may have been a one-year wonder in 2017.

Can anyone stop the Steelers right now? After a 1-2-1 start, they have won five straight games. They are scoring at will. Their defense, led by T.J. Watt and Cameron Hayward, has been physical and continues to force turnovers. Last week, their defense made the Panthers look awful. The way Conner has played in the backfield doesn't have them missing Bell too much. Conner should be good to go Sunday after going through the concussion protocol. The 23-year-old running back, a cancer survivor, is in elite company: The only other player in the NFL with at least 1,100 yards from scrimmage and 10 TDs is Los Angeles Rams star Todd Gurley. Ben Roethlisberger has a nightmare array of options in Conner, Antonio Brown, and JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Blake Bortles has been wildly inconsistent at the helm of a struggling Jaguars offense. He played well in a losing effort to the Colts last week, but you never know which Bortles you're getting. The offense badly needs running back Leonard Fournette to dominate if they want any chance to win this game and get back in the playoff race. They need Fournette to run for 100-plus yards and dominate time of possession in a low-scoring contest. The Jaguars defense dubbed 'Sacksonville' last season has been underwhelming forcing turnovers and putting pressure on the opposing QB. It's all shaping up for the Steelers to get revenge for their home playoff loss last season.
