How to Watch Vikings vs. 49ers Online

All eyes in Minnesota on Sunday will be on the two quarterbacks taking the field for their respective teams.

Jimmy Garoppolo was traded to San Francisco in the middle of last season. He took over a 1-10 49ers team and led them to five straight wins. As a starter, Garoppolo is 7-0, which gives fans in the Bay area hope for their team. But there's some added pressure on Garoppolo: San Francisco's running game lost Jerrick McKinnon for the season to a knee injury in the preseason. They'll have second-year running back Matt Breida and newly signed Alfred Morris sharing the carries.

The Vikings are putting their faith in Kirk Cousins who signed as a free agent. Last season, Minnesota went to the NFC championship game, losing to the Eagles. They are hoping Cousins can lead them back and help get them to the Super Bowl. Minnesota's offense was ranked 11th last season, but they have a new offensive coordinator which means there could be growing pains with learning the offense. The Vikings defense should continue to be a strength for the team. They led the league in total defense and scoring defense last season and almost all of their starters return for the 2018 campaign. They'll make running the ball difficult giving up only 83.6 yards per game on the ground last season. It will also be a challenge for Garoppolo to get the ball to Pierre Garcon and Marquise Goodwin because the Vikings secondary yielded only 192 passing yards per game last season.
