SAN FRANCISCO (95.7 The Game) -- Kevin Durant, are you human?
Kevin Durant dropped 51 points to help the Golden State Warriors force overtime in an eventual 131-128 road loss to the Toronto Raptors.
It was Durant's sixth career 50-point game. He set his season high with 44 points against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday and then again on Monday when he went off with 49 points against the Orlando Magic. The man can't be stopped.
Klay Thompson had said the game could be an NBA Finals preview, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The Warriors lost to the team with the best record in the NBA by three points in OT without two All-Stars. Nothing to hang their heads about.
The Warriors will meet the Raptors again on Dec. 12, and Stephen Curry and Draymond Green should be back and healthy for the rematch.
The Warriors continue their East Coast road trip when they take on the Detroit Pistons this Saturday in what is expected to be Curry's first game back from a groin injury.
