The NBA Draft is just hours away, and the Knicks are reportedly looking to make ugrades outside of prospects, according to reports.
Per The Ringer and The New York Post, the Knicks are one of multiple teams trying to make a trade for Magic swingman Terrence Ross, with New York reportedly willing to part with draft picks to get a deal done.
The veteran Ross is a former lottery pick who averaged 15.6 points per game for Orlando last season, but he wasn’t overly efficient with his scoring, shooting 41.2 percent from the floor and 33.4 percent from beyond the arc.
The Knicks could be in need of a wing presence with Alec Burks being a free agent. Ross could be suitable replacement for Burks and/or Reggie Bullock.
Ross is set to make $12.5 million next season.
