Nobody is hotter at the plate than Kyle Schwarber.
In fact, few people have every been as hot as he is in MLB history.
On Tuesday, Schwarber took the first pitch he saw deep into the right field seats, giving him 12 home runs in his last 10 games.
He is just the second player in MLB history to accomplish such a feat, tying him with Albert Belle who hit 12 in 10 games in 1995.
It also marked Schwarber’s 16th home run in 18 games, tying a feat Barry Bonds and Sammy Sosa had previously done (twice), and it was his seventh leadoff home run of the season, which traveled 434 feet at 112.1 mph off the bat.
Schwarber also tied Fernando Tatis Jr. for the NL lead in home runs this season with 25.
