Brandon Nimmo’s epic home run robbery wasn’t the only viral moment from Wednesday night’s thrilling win for the Mets.

Just over an hour after it occurred, vide of Edwin Diaz entering the game to a live rendition of “Narcos” by Timmy Trumpet was up to two million views, as Timmy Trumpet was finally able to play the song for the Citi Field crowd while the Mets closer jogged in from the bullpen.

“It was pretty fun,” Diaz said. “I tried to look up a little bit when I was running to see how the reaction was from the fans. It was pretty fun. I could feel the vibe from the fans. It was really exciting.”

After not getting a chance on Tuesday night, the Mets brought Timmy Trumpet back for another night, and this time, it paid off. Diaz came in to protect a one-run lead against the mighty Dodgers, and pitched a perfect ninth to lock down the save and one of the best wins of the year for New York.
