Tigers rookies order Starbucks in full uniform as part of hazing ritual

By 97.1 The Ticket

On the last day of a long season, the Tigers decided to have some fun.

Per tradition, the club's young players wore costumes for the final road trip of the year. Except this year, their costumes were their uniforms. And the trip was to a local Starbucks in Seattle, where the Tigers were preparing for their final game of the season on Wednesday.

And the chaperone for the team's rookies and second-year players was none other than Miguel Cabrera.

Here he is, supervising his young teammates on their walk to Starbucks, captured by Seattle sportswriter Larry Stone.

And here they were later, placing their coffee orders as their Hall of Fame chaperone kept watch.

Hopefully Miggy and his mates made it to the ballpark safely.
