The Dallas Cowboys soon will learn if their weeks of courtship paid off.

Star wideout Odell Beckham Jr. is set to visit the Cowboys on Monday as he decides which team to sign with ahead of the stretch run. He already met with the Giants, and is also expected to meet with the Bills in addition to Dallas.

For weeks, members of the organization from players to Jerry Jones have said they want Beckham in Dallas. Michael Irvin suggested as far back as October that such a feeling was mutual.

Monday represents more than just the opportunity for the Cowboys to sell Beckham on the idea of joining them. It also gives Dallas the chance to see what kind of condition Beckham, who tore his ACL in the Super Bowl nearly 10 months ago, is in.

Mike McCarthy was asked in his weekly appearance Friday on “Shan and RJ” if Beckham will go through a workout when he visits the Cowboys.

“There’s videos and things that our medical staff – they have a process, and we’ll go through the process," McCarthy said. "You’ve got to get all the information and hopefully an agreement can be worked out, but this is why you go through it all.

“So, there’s definitely a number of things that we need to work on when he gets here and so forth. But I think it’ll be great to get him in the building.”

The Cowboys have been building up to Monday for a while, and soon we’ll see if they can stick the landing.
