The NBA slate features 10 games, so there will be plenty of studs to choose from for today’s article. The game I am looking forward to watching the most is Jazz-Clippers, which should come down to the wire.

Player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries.

Let’s dive into a couple of those spots tonight.

Joel Embiid OVER 29.5 points

Embiid is having an MVP-type season and comes into this game averaging a career-high 29.6 points per game (PPG). Over the last month he has topped the 30-point mark nine times, and over the last ten games he is averaging 33 PPG.

While this number is high, the Rockets are the perfect matchup for Embiid. Houston is missing Christian Wood, which means it’ll be guys like DeMarcus Cousins, P.J. Tucker and Jae'Sean guarding The Process tonight.

The Rockets are also 27th in rebounds allowed, so Embiid should be able to pickup some easy putbacks to help him go over his mark.

Patrick Williams OVER 5.5 rebounds

Chicago’s rookie comes into this game averaging just 4.6 rebounds per game, but if you take into account his last five games, that number jumps to seven rebounds per. With Lauri Markkanen missing games due to an injury, Williams is getting more minutes at the four spot for the Bulls.

Detroit is 19th in rebounds allowed and Williams is always active on the boards. This number is a little low for tonight’s matchup, as I have him getting at least 7-8 rebounds. Make sure you shop around, because DraftKings Sportsbook is currently offering this number at + money, which makes me like it even more.

Andrew Wiggins UNDER 18.5 points

Wiggins comes into this game averaging 17.5 PPG, and 16.9 per over his last ten games. I watched the entire Nets-Warriors game last Saturday and watched Wiggins barely involved in their offensive game plan. He just stood in the corner for most of the game and wasn't really integrated into any of their sets. All his points pretty much came from one-on-one buckets.

Today, he’ll face a Miami Heat team that is 7th in points allowed and 4th in field goals allowed and opponents field goal percentage. Unless he gets hot from the 3-point line and shoots at a really high percentage from deep, I don’t see him eclipsing this number.
