We made it, folks. March Madness is back and, boy, do we need it now more than ever. All eyes for the next couple of weeks will be on college basketball games, brackets, and betting odds.
The action of Round 1 was just what the doctor ordered after a year without the NCAA Tournament. Judging by how hyped people were on social media, fans and bettors were more than ready for the games to begin.
Let’s take a look at how the first two days of matchups played out on Twitter.
Picking Drake because you like the rapper is valid, but so is rooting against Colgate because of their name.
But there were also reasons to root for Colgate.
Although Colgate didn’t do so hot against Arkansas.
Some grappled with unexpected emotions while figuring out which teams to root for. If you’re experiencing this, don’t worry. It’s totally normal.
And for some, the start of the Tournament was also the finish.

Oral Roberts’ win over Ohio State busted an absurd amount of brackets.
There were some discouraged fans.

And Georgetown was the trendy dog until suddenly it wasn’t.
Imagine being so bad that you're down 24 at half and barely favored in the 2nd half. What a squad.

But this is the most important thing to remember.
Just a reminder that brackets are meant to bust. Your bracket does not define you.
