It looks like Jake Paul is making a return to the boxing ring. It was first reported on Monday the former YouTube star is set to face former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in a boxing match and the betting odds are out for who will be victorious.
Paul, who is 3-0 in his illustrious boxing career, and Woodley both opened at -110 at SuperBook Sports.
The match has yet to be formally announced but Paul teased an announcement for Tuesday on Twitter.
And Woodley was already coming for Paul in his tweets back in April.
In Paul’s last bout in April, he defeated MMA fighter Ben Askren by TKO in the first round. Paul opened as the favorite over Askren ahead of that fight. Paul’s other two wins came against YouTuber colleague Ali Eson Gib and former NBA player Nate Robinson. He also recently signed a multi-fight deal with Showtime.
Woodley has been fighting professionally since 2009 and won the UFC welterweight championship in 2016. His professional record is 19-7-1.
Paul’s brother, Logan, also a YouTuber-turned-fighter, is set to fight Floyd Mayweather on June 6.
This match is reportedly set for August 28. Keep an eye on the odds for this bout, as I expect Paul will soon pull ahead as the favorite.
