Berea, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. feels he was singled out by the NFL when he was pulled off the field early in the first quarter against the New York Jets because of his visor.
Beckham argues that the visor he was wearing was within league rules before it was switched out by the team's equipment staff.
Beckham had just made an incredible one-handed catch on the sideline for a 33-yard gain to the Jets 4. Prior to the third-and-goal snap from the 5, officials stopped play and walked Beckham to the sideline because of the visor, which had a slight orange or gold tint to it.
Beckham went on to catch six passes for 161 yards, including an 89-yard touchdown in the 23-3 Browns victory.
