(SportsRadio 610) -- The Green Bay Packers are among the teams inquiring about Texans wide receiver Will Fuller, The Athletic’s Aaron Reiss reports.

No deal is imminent, according to Reiss, and the Texans are not interested in a fire sale of trades just because they are 1-6 to start the season.

The Texans are in their bye week, but most recently fell 35-20 to the Packers last Sunday at NRG Stadium.

Fuller is their top receiver after trading away DeAndre Hopkins over the offseason. Fuller has 490 yards and five touchdowns on 31 catches, despite not showing up in the box score at all in Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens.

When Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was asked about Fuller in the week leading up to their win over the Texans, the coach gushed about him.

“You can really see him improving every year he gets out on that field,” said LaFleur, who coached quarterbacks at Notre Dame when Fuller was a breakout sophomore there in 2014. “I think he’s a legitimate No. 1 receiver and he definitely has the speed that you’ve got to know where he is at all times, especially when you’ve got a guy like Deshaun (Watson) throwing him the football. There’s been a lot of explosive plays.

“I’m really happy to see him have success. I hope he doesn’t have as much success on Sunday versus us, then pick up after that. But I’m a big Will Fuller fan.”

Fuller is making $10.162 million in the final year of his rookie deal. He could become a free agent after this season if the team does not use the franchise tag to retain him, or agree to a new contract.
