Pittsburgh sports radio host on Sirianni: ‘Don’t f—ing look at the camera like that you goddamn goof’

The city of Philadelphia was jubilant on Saturday night as the Eagles destroyed the Giants 38-7 to advance to the NFC Championship Game for the first time since winning the Super Bowl in 2018.

Jalen Hurts looked the part in his first home playoff game and perhaps nobody enjoyed the win more than head coach Nick Sirianni. Sirianni had a few different moments in front of the camera, including making the face seen around the world.

While that moment only endeared Sirianni even more to Eagles fans, not everyone seemed to share that sentiment.

Pittsburgh sports radio host Andrew Fillipponi of 93.7 The Fan is one of those people. Fillipponi sounded off on Sirianni on the Audacy Original Podcast "1st & Pod" on Monday.

“I have no reason other than geography to dislike this Eagles team, but you know what really pissed me off? You’re going to be shocked by this. Sirianni, don’t f—ing look at the camera like that you goddamn goof,” Fillipponi said (12:30 in player above). “He’s making this face like ‘You like that?’ like one of those deals, like ‘try to stop this.’ You’re playing the f—ing Giants, OK?”

Mind you, the Giants more than made a name for themselves this season after beating the Vikings to advance to the divisional round. It was the Eagles’ first playoff game and the head coach was into it.

But Fillipponi wasn’t.

“Like, make that face after a quarter against the 49ers or the Chiefs,” he continued. “You want to impress me? Do it against them. Pick on somebody your own size kind of deal. You know what I mean? Don’t gloat after 15 minutes against the goddamn Giants, dude. Nick Saban wouldn’t do that against goddamn Vanderbilt, you know what I mean? That really annoyed me.”

You know what? Maybe Sirianni will make that face against the 49ers or the Chiefs. Brian Daboll certainly won’t be able to as he watches the NFC Championship Game from his couch.
