It seems like every week, the Ravens defense gets stronger. They've surrendered just 26 points over the past three games and last week's shutout may have been their best performance yet.
The Ravens (4-2) tallied a franchise record 11 sacks in a 21-0 road win against the Titans. The game proved to be a coming-out party for Za'Darius Smith, who had a career-high three sacks. Terrell Suggs recorded his 130th career sack late in the first quarter.
The Ravens allowed just 55 rushing yards, as quarterback Marcus Mariota led the way with just 25 yards rushing.
The Ravens defense ranks 1st in the NFL in points allowed per game (12.8) and total yards surrendered per game (270.8). Even more impressive is the tough passing defense Baltimore has shown, allowing just 188 yards per game.
Sunday will surely be a test of two teams' strengths and it will be interesting to see if the Ravens can shut down the high-octane offense of the Saints. If the last three games are any indication, the Ravens should have the advantage come Sunday.
