The Red Sox are feeling good about themselves. Who can blame them?
Coming out of taking two of three games against Oakland, allowing them to sit with a major league-best 53 wins (tied with the Giants and Dodgers), Alex Cora's club has a 4 1/2-game lead on second-place Tampa Bay. Oh, and they are 10 games up on the Yankees.
Go back to the days leading into Opening Day and you would found the over/under win totals suggesting a different story. The Yankees had the second-highest number at 95.5 with the Blue Jays sitting at 86.5 and Rays one win behind.
The Red Sox? They were projected at 80.5 wins.
Well, the Red Sox want to offer some reminders. First it was the constant wave of "nobody believed in us" comments from those in uniform. And now we have the team's Twitter account.

The Red Sox look to continue their winning ways with the first of a three-game series in Anaheim against the Angels. First pitch is at 9:38 p.m. on the Shaw's and Star Market Red Sox Radio Network.
