Boston Red Sox, Minnesota Twins see notable division odds line movement

See how much the odds have changed for some MLB teams to win their divisions

The second half of this MLB season is upon us and there’s been some notable line movement in the betting odds for teams so far this year. BetMGM released data on how much odds in each division have changed and the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins have seen movement in their odds to win their respective divisions. Let’s take a look at those changes and the division odds for other teams as the All-Star Break comes to a close.

In the AL East, the Red Sox opened at +2500 to win the division and their odds are now at -155 as the favorite to take it. The Tampa Bay Rays have also seen some line movement in this division, as they opened at +350 and are now at +140. The Rays are also the biggest liability at BetMGM to win the AL East.

In the AL Central, the Chicago White Sox opened at -110 and their odds to win the division are now at -1400 as the favorite. The Minnesota Twins, meanwhile, opened at +140 and are now at +10000, tied with the Kansas City Royals and Detroit Tigers. The Tigers are the biggest liability at BetMGM at those odds.

Moving on to the AL West, the Houston Astros opened at +150 and their odds to win the division have moved to -750 as the favorite. While the Oakland A’s opened at +120 and their odds have now moved to +400. The Seattle Mariners are the biggest liability in the AL West at BetMGM with +5000 odds.

In the NL East, the New York Mets opened at +175 to win the division and are now at -300 as the favorite. The Atlanta Braves saw some line movement as well, opening at +125 and now at +650 to win the division. The Miami Marlins are the biggest liability in the division with +8000, in last place.

As for the NL Central, the Milwaukee Brewers opened at +300 to win the division and their odds are now at -650 as the favorite. The Chicago Cubs opened at +275 to win the division and their odds have now moved to +1600. The Brewers are also the biggest liability to win the NL Central.

And, finally, in the NL West, the Los Angeles Dodgers have seen some slight line movement. They opened at -200 to win the NL West and their odds are now at -250. The San Francisco Giants odds moved a bit more, as they opened at +4000 and are now at +365. The Giants are also the biggest liability to win the NL West.
