Steelers reportedly signing QB Mitch Trubisky

According to the NFL Network and other outlets, the Steelers supposedly have their next starting quarterback.

Mike Garafolo reports that the Steelers have signed Bill backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky to a two-year deal.

“The former No. 2 overall pick heads to Pittsburgh as the expected starter in place of the retired Ben Roethlisberger.

The 27-year-old was drafted by the Chicago Bears with the second overall pick in the 2017 draft.

He’s 29-21 in his career with all of those starts in Chicago.

Trubisky also talks about his wife expecting and trying to navigate that while joining a new team, as well as the impact that Josh Allen left on him during his time with the Bills.
