Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady will go up against Aaron Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau in this year’s edition of The Match, it was announced on Wednesday. And the betting odds are out for who is most likely to win the showdown.
Team Rodgers and DeChambeau opened as the favorite with -160 odds (odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook), while Team Brady and Mickelson opened with +140 odds. However, Stations Casino in Las Vegas had Brady and Mickelson as favorites at -130, with Rodgers and DeChambeau as +110 underdogs.
Mickelson, of course, is coming off his historic PGA Championship victory last week. And Brady is coming off his seventh Super Bowl victory in February. DeChambeau is the fourth-ranked golfer in the world. While Rodgers is coming off his stint hosting Jeopardy.
Whether or not Brady is the underdog, he’s the favorite to win the meme competition on Twitter, as he posted a slew of them on Wednesday following the announcement:
Mickelson also tweeted about his anticipation for The Match and took some shots at Rodgers in response to his tweet:

But then DeChambeau swooped in and completely killed the fun:
This fourth edition of The Match will take place on July 6 at Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Montana. Place your bets and get your popcorn ready.
