Aaron Rodgers has posted a lengthy, intriguing new message for his former fiancee and his teammates in Green Bay.
It's just not exactly clear what any of it was supposed to mean.
The reigning NFL MVP published what he tagged as an expression of #MondayNightGratitude late on Monday, in which he thanked his former fiancee Shailene Woodley as well as Packers coaches current and former, including Matt LaFleur, Nathaniel Hackett and Luke Getsy, and teammates Jordan Love, Kurt Benkert, Randall Cobb and David Bakhtiari.
The post featured a series of photos "from the last beautiful year," including several from both on and off the field.
Given the uncertainty surrounding Rodgers' future -- both in Green Bay and perhaps even in the NFL in general -- the seemingly heartfelt post could certainly be read as a potential farewell.
Rodgers, 38, has been cagey about his plans for the 2022 season and beyond, while reports have indicated the Packers are prepared to offer him a massive contract extension that would keep him in Green Bay for potentially the remainder of his decorated career.
In late January, Rodgers said "everything is on the table."

Monday's ambiguous missive leaves plenty of room for interpretation, which was perhaps Rodgers' intent.
The four-time league MVP is coming off yet another brilliant season of on-field performance, but his apparently frayed relationship with the Packers has been the subject of much speculation since they drafted his heir apparent, Love, in April 2020, seemingly without his foreknowledge or approval.
Despite rumors of a potential holdout last offseason, Rodgers returned after the Packers gave him a healthy raise. His dominant regular season earned him a second consecutive MVP award, but the Packers were upset yet again in the postseason, this time at home in the NFC Divisional Round Playoff by the San Francisco 49ers.
The humiliating defeat prompted merciless trolling by Rodgers' critics, who saw their ranks swell after it was revealed Rodgers had misled the media about his vaccination status during the preseason.
The former California Golden Bears star was defiant in the face of the criticism, though, ripping an NFL MVP voter who said he would not cast his ballot for Rodgers over the vaccine flap, and doubling down on his opposition to vaccine mandates while promoting questionable science and publicly firing back at President Biden after Biden had ribbed him.
