JuJu Smith-Schuster would fight Jake Paul if his contract allowed it

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – That fight between JuJu Smith-Schuster and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul could happen…if only Smith-Schuster’s contract allowed it.

Smith-Schuster told Audacy's Jim Rome what his thoughts were on Paul calling him out as the NFL player he would pick to face in the ring.

“If I wasn’t in contract, I’d definitely take the fight on,” Smith-Schuster said. “That’s something that does interest me.”

JuJu praised Paul for his 4-0 record in the ring.

“What he is doing is unheard of,” Smith-Schuster said. “For him to be a YouTuber and what he’s doing now is insane.

“I would have to train. Obviously I’m not a professional boxer. That’s something I would have to train for. But I think it would be a really great fight.”

Before Paul’s recent victory over UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, he called out Smith-Schuster as the NFL player he would pick to take into the ring.

“I’d probably fight JuJu Smith-Schuster, go Browns,” the Cleveland native said while giving thumbs down to the Steelers.
