Takk McKinley Joined Wes Durham and Dave Archer on the Dan Quinn Coaches show and talked about his role on the defense this season "The biggest thing is I got a bigger responsibility, with AC gone I've got to be that that guy, and I've carried over momentum from the end of last season."
Takk told the guys how he can lead the team in sacks this year "I would say the biggest thing is to try and stay healthy, I've been dealing with the shoulder injury since I was in college and competing, I'm always competing."
When talking about how quickly Quarterbacks get rid of the ball in the NFL McKinley told the guys "Every QB has a clock in their head, as a pass rusher fan's don't understand how fast the ball gets out of their hands in the NFL, sometimes it can get frustrating and if our LB and DB's do their job it gives us an extra second to get there."
The guys asked Takk how do you get past two heartbreaking losses in a row "We've got to flush that game yesterday down the toiled, we just finished the first quarter and have to go get ready for the second quarter of the season. On defense we've got to do a better job of finishing, we've got to realize these are the moments we live for, the moments great defenses live for, the offense is doing their job and we've got to step up."
