Thousands of Full NFL and NBA Games Available For Free During Sports Hiatus

nfl

Football and basketball fans, rejoice. No more mindlessly browsing through hours of old YouTube footage to watch five or ten-minute clips of games in years past. No more desperately searching for some crumby-quality video of a 2013 game in order to relive one of your favorite moments. And no more complete lack of NFL or NBA action throughout the coronavirus quarantine.

Ok, so maybe it's not a good time to say that we should rejoice for anything. The world is going through a very strenuous time and sports are nowhere near resuming, which is the right call. However, what the NFL and NBA is providing fans to help satisfy their hunger for sports is the next best thing.

Have a hankering to watch your team win the Super Bowl... again? Want to witness the greatness of the Chiefs-Rams 54-51 Monday Night Football slugfest? Or maybe you're a Patriots fan, and want to relive the past 10 years of Tom Brady while you pretend he didn't just get traded to the Bucs. All of this is possible.

According to an official press release, the NFL will offer free access to their NFL Game Pass streaming service, allowing fans to embark on an adventure through thousands of full NFL games, football specials like Hard Knocks, All-22 and others, and condensed game replays.

Additionally, full game encores will be available as special features for signature wins of various teams.

Along with the NFL, the NBA and Turner Sports also announced that League Pass is free through April 22 so you can also get plenty of hoops action as well.

The price for an annual subscription to NFL Game Pass is $99.99, while the price for NBA League Pass is even more at $199.99, or $28.99 a month. Both the NFL and NBA are delivering quite a nice gift to sports fans while we're stuck inside in social isolation. The move signifies that the leagues are taking measures to protect not only its players and faculty, but the millions of fans around the world who should be staying home at such a crucial time.
