It appears as if Tony Gonzalez will no longer be a part of Fox Sports’ NFL coverage.

The Hall of Fame tight end, who played with the Chiefs and Falcons, is leaving the network in order to “focus on TV and film projects,” according to Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports.

Gonzalez, 45, has been part of the “Fox NFL Kickoff” pregame show since 2017 and began his media career in 2014 as part of the CBS “NFL Today” crew.

While working in media, Gonzalez also dabbled in some acting roles in Hollywood. He made his feature film debut in the 2017 movie “xXx: Return of Xander Cage,” which starred Vin Diesel. He also had a recurring role as special agent Tony Francis on NCIS from 2014-16.

Per McCarthy, Michael Vick or Emmanuel Acho could be in line to replace Gonzalez on the Fox pregame show.
