Joe Burrow entered some rare territory on Sunday.
The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback absolutely went off on the Baltimore Ravens defense, throwing for an astounding 525 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-21 win to improve to 8-6 and move into first place in the AFC North.

The 525 yards were the fourth most in a single game in NFL history and the most by a quarterback since Matt Schaub threw for 527 yards in 2012. Only Warren Moon (527 in 1990) and Norm Van Brocklin (554 in 1951) have thrown for more.
It also sets the record for most passing yards by a Bengals player in franchise history and he became the first player in NFL history with multiple 400-yard passing games in a season vs. the same team, throwing for 416 yards against them in Week 7.
The former No. 1 overall pick out of LSU also connected with Tee Higgins 12 times for 194 yards and two touchdowns and found his ex-college teammate Ja’Marr Chase seven times for 125 yards.
Ravens defensive coordinator Wink Marindale said earlier this week he would not double-team Chase because “I don’t think we’re ready to buy a gold jacket for Joe.”
Burrow’s performance had fans take notice on social media, too:
