The Jacksonville Jaguars fell to 0-2 on the season Sunday after a 23-13 loss to the Denver Broncos, which may feel like a disappointment after the team took Trevor Lawrence first overall.

But one thing that is as true as any in the NFL, success does not come overnight.

In his first year in Jacksonville, Urban Meyer is desperately trying to keep Jags fans engaged after he said before the season that the Jags are on a one-year plan to start winning, not a four-year plan.

Through the Jaguars' Twitter account, Urban Meyer released a quote telling the fans to "hang in there" and to know his team will be working hard to get this thing back on track.

"Hang in there with us," Meyer said. "We're going to get better. The one thing about Jacksonville and the 904, go to sleep knowing there's not going to be any group working harder to get this thing flipped."

Meyer's quote is an interesting take after we are just finishing Week 2 of the season. By releasing his quote through a motivational graphic on Twitter instead of going to the media is a strange look.

If Meyer continues to seem this panicked and if the Jags continue losing, which is expected, the lack of success in Jacksonville will further add to the speculation that Urban is interested in the USC job.

Lawrence has been a winner his entire playing career, but it won’t be long until he loses just as many games as he lost in his entire life with the Jags, in just one season. Who knows what type of motivational statement Meyer will be releasing once we reach that point?
