Von Miller has nothing but fondness for the Los Angeles Rams.
That won’t be his focus Thursday night.

Miller won a Super Bowl last season with the Rams, acquiring him midseason from the Denver Broncos, the only team he'd played for at that point. He elected not to re-sign with the Rams, instead joining the Buffalo Bills as a free agent.
Poetically, he’ll face his former team in the opener as the Bills begin what’s widely expected to be a successful season for them. Miller had only great things to say about the Rams during an appearance Tuesday on the “Rich Eisen Show”, but it doesn't appear that will be distracting him Thursday.
“I love those guys over there, I love everybody over there,” Miller told Eisen. “They came in and got me at a very crucial moment in my career, and it’s nothing but love for the whole city of LA and the whole Rams organization. … Everybody, they showed me so much love, I love those guys. Everybody in LA, there’s so much love for the whole city.
"It's just like playing against your brother. You love your brother and y'all are family, but when it's time to play you want to win. That's just where I'm at with it."
That Miller so clearly loved his time in Los Angeles makes it all the more impressive that the Bills were able to lure him to Buffalo. Now, he’ll try to replicate the success he had in Los Angeles with the Bills.
