(670 The Score) The White Sox have designated left-hander Dallas Keuchel for assignment, the team announced Saturday.
Keuchel, 34, was 2-5 with a 7.88 over eight starts this season. He has been with the White Sox since 2020, going 17-16 with a 4.79 ERA over 51 appearances and 49 starts. He surrendered six earned runs over two innings in Wednesday's 16-7 loss to the Red Sox.

Keuchel was playing the final season of a three-year, $55.5-million deal signed with the White Sox in December of 2019.
The White Sox recalled infielder Danny Mendick from Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding roster move. Mendick, 28, is hitting .217 this season.
The White Sox host the Cubs for a two-game series beginning Saturday night at Guaranteed Rate Field.
