Gleyber Torres sent an immediate message to the Guardians after stepping on second for the final out of the ALDS.
Right after Torres secured the throw from Isiah Kiner-Falefa, he mocked Josh Naylor’s rock-the-baby celebration from game four, staring right at the Cleveland dugout while he did it.
“Revenge, Torres said, via MLB.com’s Bryan Hoch. “Now they can watch on TV.”
Torres said Naylor’s celebration was “disrespectful” after he took Gerrit Cole deep on Sunday night, and Torres joined in with the thousands of fans mocking the celebration in a hitless night for Naylor.
