During a conversation with Mike Adam, Monahan confirmed that the band is working on a new album that will be released before their tour starts in June. “I really believe that I'm writing better lyrics and melodies than I ever have," he admits, also sharing he has scored an upcoming musical set for September.
"But you know, I learned the hard way that when someone on Broadway says ‘that's amazing,’ it means ‘rewrite it.’"
