This year I’m Listening has partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to further support mental health initiatives and provide expert medical health access as we continue to navigate maintaining the intersection of mental and physical health in the age of COVID-19.
In coordination with our September 23, I’m Listening broadcast, we’d like to invite you to join AFSP’s annual Out Of The Darkness community walk.
This Fall, AFSP will host walks in cities across the country. These events give people the courage to open up about their own connections to the cause, and a platform to create a culture that’s smarter about mental health. Friends, family members, neighbors, and coworkers walk side-by-side, supporting each other and in memory of those we’ve lost. To find a walk near you head to the AFSP website.
In the spirit of finding connection points between mental health and music, we have curated a special listening experience to go hand-in-hand with the AFSP walk on the new exclusive station, AFSP Out of The Darkness Radio. Listen now below and on the Audacy app.

Audacy’s AFSP Out Of The Darkness Radio is your very own soundtrack to guide you through a day of supporting a personal and powerful cause. Aiming to bring hope and catharsis through sound, the new exclusive station spans all genres, from tracks by The Weeknd to Bill Withers and so many more.
This year’s Out Of The Darkness walks kick off on September 11, in Fort Kent, Maine, and spans until May 14, coming to a close in Sparks, Nevada. Find a walk in your city here, and start listening to AFSP Out Of The Darkness Radio on the Audacy app.
Audacy is committed to supporting the health and success of the communities that are the heart of its business. I’m Listening aims to encourage those who are dealing with mental health issues to understand they are not alone.
