*NSYNC reunion filled with 'tears of joy' according to Lance Bass

'For us to finally be together, it just feels right'

Since the epic *NSYNC reunion at the MTV VMAs, plus all their additional appearances and interviews, each member of the the early aughts boy band has spoken out about the experience and feeling of being reunited.

After briefly discussing it on his podcast Frosted Tips with Lance Bass, Lance has gone into further detail about he, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick reacted to getting together for the first time in years.

Discussing what it was like to get back into the studio with his former bandmates, (The group is set to release their first new song since 2001), Lance told Entertainment Tonight, “It was pretty emotional, the first time we all got in the studio together. Back in March, we decided to, you know, get back together and have some fun and it was like no time had passed.”

“But there was there was a lot of tears. It was just tears of joy. And it was just a beautiful moment,” he continued. “Like, time does so much and for us to finally be together, it just feels right.”

The track of course, set to be released September 29, will be part of the third Trolls movie soundtrack, Trolls Band Together.

As for any plans for *NSYNC following the release of the track, Lance added, “I’ve been telling the fans, like, we don’t have solid plans right now. Because, you know, we’re waiting for the strike to end, we’ve got things to do. But the fans are definitely shaping our future.”
